Fund-A-Cure Live Auction Donors

The highlight of the Annual Rocky Start Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner is the exciting Live Auction, although it features no private jets or exotic locales. We are in the business of filling generous hearts with satisfaction and sponsoring neonatal critical care equipment. The doctors and nurses of the NICU participate as well; as only they can do - emphasizing the critical need for much of this equipment with their own tales from the NICU. Each baby they care for is special and has needs unique unto their tiny little selves. Each critically ill baby requires an entire team of NICU heroes and we are working to help ensure they have the best tools-of-the-trade.

Rocky Start Live Auction Donors are very special and invaluable to the NICU team - and - are truly helping to bring the babies home. These donors are extraordinary in their generosity by sponsoring individual pieces of critical care equipment , specially designed for the NICU's tiny patients - often weighing only a pound or two.

One of the goals of the Rocky Start Foundation is to raise the $1 million needed to purchase all of the equipment on the NICU Wish List, and tackle the educational and research needs as well. Much work still to be done!

Raising the Bar in the NICU each year, Rocky Start Foundation donors sponsor individual pieces of critical care equipment. This equipment is sponsored through our annual "Fund-a-Cure"-style Live Auction at the annual Rocky Start charity golf tournament and dinner. In appreciation of this extraordinary generosity, our special equipment donors are invited to the Rocky Start Annual Sponsorship Tour Luncheon and Lecture at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where they meet the doctors and nurses, see their donation hard at work and are introduced to the tiny patients whose lives they directly impact through Rocky Start.
